Job Description
This role involves driving alignment across internal stakeholders to enable a delightful developer experience for first-party developers working on Cloud web experiences. You'll build community and support internal developers, aiming for transformational improvements in their efficiency on the Cloud Console Platform. Responsibilities include providing technical leadership on high-impact projects, managing project priorities, and designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing large-scale software solutions. The role focuses on improving the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Console, working with teams like BigQuery, Google Kubernetes Engine, and others to create AI-powered Cloud web experiences. You will leverage AI to increase internal developer efficiency and contribute to the future of GCP.
Must have:
- 8+ years software development experience
- 5+ years testing and launching software
- 3+ years software design and architecture
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Components, GraphQL expertise
- Technical leadership and project management
Good to have:
- Master's degree in related field
- Experience with TypeScript, Angular, or Kotlin
- Experience in a complex, matrixed organization
- Data structures/algorithms expertise

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Components, GraphQL, Web Development.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
- Experience in TypeScript, Angular, or Kotlin.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $248,000-$349,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
