About the job:
As a Solutions Design Manager at Google, you will serve as a commercial compliance partner and trusted advisor to the Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) organization’s executive leadership, helping to land, rethink and shape the future commercial strategy of xWS. You will identify and design solutions that enable partners/Product Areas to succeed in their business objectives by optimizing operational costs across Alphabet, identify cost efficiencies, and help mitigate risk and compliance across Alphabet. You will also review Supplier agreements and Statement of Works (SOWs) to identify compliance with contractual good practice and highlight commercial, operational, and contractual remediations to mitigate commercial and contractual risk. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders and leaders to gather data and conduct business analyses with project communication and management.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 6 years of experience in program management, client services, or management consulting
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
  • 5 years of experience in consulting, business strategy, corporate advisory or Industry, including in the contract management, supplier management, commercial management, vendor management, procurement or supply chain areas
  • 3 years of experience in the areas of Extended Workforce, contract/vendor management, cost management, operating model design and across the contingent labor landscape
Good to have:
  • Experience with projects that have an impact on business operations across international markets
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to drive impact in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for advocating for customers and improving the overall customer experience

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in program management, client services or management consulting.
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • 5 years of experience in consulting, business strategy, corporate advisory or Industry, including in the contract management, supplier management, commercial management, vendor management, procurement or supply chain areas.
  • 3 years of experience in the areas of Extended Workforce, contract/vendor management, cost management, operating model design and across the contingent labor landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Help identify and design solutions that enable our partners/Product Areas to succeed in their business objectives by optimizing operational costs cross-Alphabet, identify cost efficiencies and help to mitigate risk and compliance across Alphabet.
  • Review Supplier agreements and Statement of Works (SOWs) to identify compliance to contractual good practice and highlight commercial, operational and contractual remediations to mitigate commercial and contractual risk.
  • Be responsible for ongoing agreement reviews of Extended Workforce SOWs, assessing commercial and other risk matters against defined standards and recommending remediation for contractual improvements.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders and leaders to gather data and conduct business analyses with project communication and management.
