The Senior Business Systems Analyst – Dayforce Payroll will configure, maintain, and support Dayforce HCM and Payroll modules. Responsibilities include analyzing payroll requirements, collaborating with HR and IT teams, optimizing system setups, designing and executing test cases, integrating Dayforce with other systems, ensuring compliance, generating reports, and training staff. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of Dayforce Payroll experience, expertise in payroll processing, data integration, and reporting, and a strong understanding of payroll compliance and benefits administration. Proficiency in Dayforce's Payroll, Time and Attendance, and Benefits modules is essential, along with knowledge of data integration techniques (EDI, API, file-based integrations). SQL and data query tools are a plus.

We are seeking an experienced Dayforce Payroll Business Systems Analyst to join our Corporate IT Business Applications team. You will be responsible for analyzing, configuring, testing, and supporting the Dayforce HCM (Human Capital Management) and Payroll modules. You will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure efficient payroll operations, system functionality, and timely issue resolution. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Finance Applications, you will:

  • Configure and maintain the Dayforce Payroll system, including pay policies, tax settings, deductions, and benefits, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and compliance. Collaborate with HR, payroll, and IT teams to optimize system setup.
  • Gather and document payroll requirements while identifying gaps and opportunities for automation with stakeholders to improve processes and system functionality.
  • Design and execute test cases for system updates and configurations, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to meet business needs.
  • Work with IT to integrate Dayforce Payroll with HRIS, benefits, and finance systems while ensuring data accuracy. Maintain compliance with tax regulations and generate required payroll reports.
  • Train payroll staff on system functionality, maintain documentation, and recommend improvements by staying updated on Dayforce features and trends.

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Dayforce Payroll or a similar HCM system (e.g., Workday, ADP).
  • Proven expertise in payroll processing, data integration, and reporting within a business systems environment, with a strong understanding of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and benefits administration.
  • Proficiency in the Dayforce HCM platform, particularly in Payroll, Time and Attendance, and Benefits modules, with experience in system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Solid knowledge of data integration techniques, including EDI, API, and file-based integrations, with familiarity in SQL and data query tools considered a plus.

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Dayforce certification or formal training.
  • Experience supporting large or complex payroll operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems integration and familiarity with other modules, such as HR, Recruiting, and Benefits.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$105,000$150,000 USD
