About the job:
This role is for a Sr Graphic Designer who will be responsible for developing production-ready ticket artwork for scratch-off tickets and other key lottery or non-lottery projects. They will work with Customer Service, Game Programming and Manufacturing personnel in the development and modification of artwork. They may also work with customers, advertising agencies, and marketing personnel as necessary to develop artwork supporting Lottery projects. The role also includes creating original game designs and non-ticket art, as well as insert and POS artwork for instant games. They will participate in new game generation and new product development, including the exploration and recommendation of innovative product ideas that help meet company goals and revenues. This role also involves asset management, ensuring all deliverable files are provided to customers and vendors and that all licensed image assets meet guidelines.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
  • Knowledge of Mac OS, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Strong knowledge of printing processes
  • Proven ability to create commercially reproduced artwork
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Professional communications skills
Good to have:
  • Experience with Flexographic printing processes
  • Strong organizational and customer-service skills
  • Positive, energetic style with strong 'get it done right and on time' attitude

Position Summary

File Development:

  • Uses knowledge of production methods to develop production-ready ticket artwork for scratch-off tickets and other key lottery or non-lottery projects
  • Works with Customer Service, Game Programming and Manufacturing personnel in the development and modification of artwork
  • May work with customers, advertising agencies, marketing personnel as necessary to develop artwork supporting Lottery projects.

Design:

  • Creates original game designs and non-ticket art as assigned.
  • Creates insert and POS artwork for instant games as required by account.
  • Participates in new game generation and new product development as required including the exploration and recommendation of innovative product ideas that help meet company goals and revenues.
  • Participates in brainstorming sessions as assigned

Asset Management:

  • Provide all deliverable files required to customers and vendors

Ensure all licensed image assets meet guidelines.
 

Qualifications

Education

Bachelors degree in Graphic design or related field.

Required Skill and Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Mac OS, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop applications.

  • Strong knowledge of printing processes

  • Proven ability to create commercially reproduced artwork. (via portfolio)

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Professional communications skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skill and Qualification

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the graphic design and/or printing field 

  • Experience with Flexographic printing processes

  • Strong organizational and customer-service skills.

  • Positive, energetic style with strong “get it done right and on time” attitude.
