Sr Systems Engineer - Linux

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, and project management. This role involves overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

What You’ll Be Doing As A Part of Our Team

• Design, develop, and implement complex systems and solutions
• Oversee the integration of various systems and ensure seamless operation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications
• Conduct system performance analysis and optimization
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
• Participate in on-call schedules and weekend/off business hours maintenance when required
• Participate in incidents and complex ticket troubleshooting, their root cause analysis and problem management processes
  
  
  

What You Should Have To Qualify

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in systems engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of Cloud experience using AWS and Azure
• Strong knowledge of systems architecture, design, and integration
• Proficiency in Amazon EKS, Linux operating systems and their patching
• Strong experience with Infrastructure-As-Code (IaC) and the configuration management platforms like Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  
  
  

Ideally, You Would Also Have These

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
• Good understanding of security and related best practices of access management, patch management and backup and recovery, DR and BCP
