Sr. Engineer /Technical Lead - FMS
We are seeking an energetic individual with a passion for working with dynamic FMS environment. As a member of our ECC FLX team, you will have the opportunity to make significant contribution to our new generation Flight Management System.
- Should have 4 to 12 years of overall engineering experiences in software development and testing of Avionics embedded system.
- Candidate should be strong in OOPS concept
- Knowledge of ADA 83/95/2012 is a plus.
- Good knowledge and work experience in avionics domain.
- Knowledge of DO178B/C.
- Knowledge of tools like Doors, ClearCase, GIT, BITBUCKET, JIRA is a plus.
- Quick learner in enhancing new skills based on project needs.
- A pro-active and hands-on individual who is driven by the desire to succeed.
- Candidate should posses positive attitude, strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.
- Be an effective communicator and be able to establish good engagement model with global teams.
- Travel domestically and internationally, as required
- Understanding of efficient flight profiles
- Knowledge of Aircraft Performance , Navigation Databases, Flight Planning, EFB applications and ARINC standards is a plus
- Technical leader should be capable of driving the team towards high performance and be able to transform the requirements to successful quality deliverables.
Roles and Responsibilities:
You will play major role in development and verification of FMS functions and will be involved in the various phases of FMS development. In more details:
- Have a good understanding of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for FMS software systems.
- Code development as per DO178B/C standards
- Demonstrate the technical capabilities as a technical leader to drive the high performance team meeting the project targets
- Support the system testing on simulation benches including the regression and integration tests.
- Ensure quality deliverables before hand-off from the team
- Work on latest tool and means like JIRA/GIT/BITBUCKET/ClearCase/etc...
- Participate in an AGILE team involved in the development phases by respecting deadlines and contractual milestones.
- Apply and comply with the configuration management process
- Contribute for grooming the team talent
- Drive the continuous improvement in the team to drive the efficiencies to enable sustained growth.
