Job Summary
Job Description
The System Engineer will be responsible for compiling technical specifications for gate driver designs, designing gate drivers, and laying out printed circuit boards (PCBs). This role involves evaluating gate driver designs at low and high voltages, reviewing competitor products, and compiling related documentation. Additional responsibilities include providing technical support to sales, marketing, customers, and business partners, writing technical papers, presenting at conferences, participating in exhibits, and conducting training. The engineer will also visit customers for support and demand creation in conjunction with sales.
Must have:
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electronics or electrical engineering
- Experience in power electronics, gate drivers, and inverter systems
- Experience in circuit design and PCB layout with CAD systems
- Experience in characterization of gate drivers and inverter systems
- Proven capability in handling complex projects and interfacing
- Very good command of spoken and written English
- Able to travel internationally as required
- Able to promote and create demands for customers

Job Details
Duties and Responsibilities
- Compiles technical specifications for gate driver designs.
- Designs gate drivers, including selection and evaluation of suitable components.
- Layouts printed circuit boards (PCBs) including compilation of related production data for external manufacturing partners.
- Responsible for the low and high voltage evaluation of gate driver designs.
- Reviews analysis of competitor products.
- Compiles related gate driver documentation.
- Visits customers for support and demand creation in conjunction with sales.
- Technical support of sales, marketing, customers and business partners.
- Compiles technical papers and editorials including their presentation at public conferences.
- Participates at exhibits as technical peer for customers and business partners.
- Conducts training for internal and external customers.
Job Requirements
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering, electrical engineering or other deep technical background in power electronics
- Experience in power electronics especially related to gate drivers and inverter systems and/or IGBT and MOSFET technologies
- Experience in circuit design and layout of printed circuit boards (PCBs) with CAD systems such as Altium Designer
- Experience in characterization of gate drivers, power semiconductors and/or inverter system
- Proven capability in handling complex projects and being effective while interfacing with different teams
- Very good command of spoken and written English
- Able to travel internationally as required
- Able to promote and create demands for customers
