Job Description

The Technical Assistant will be responsible for conducting comprehensive testing and failure analysis of automotive components to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability. This involves executing test procedures, analyzing results, and troubleshooting issues to identify root causes. The role requires managing testing requirements throughout the product development lifecycle, adhering to customer specifications and quality guidelines. Key skills include familiarity with automotive testing standards (USCAR, GMW, IEC, VW), electrical tests, and experience with environmental chambers, UTM, and pressure vacuum tests.
Must have:
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and failure analysis of automotive components.
  • Execute test procedures, analyze test results, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Manage testing requirements throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with automotive component testing standards like USCAR, GMW, IEC, VW.
  • Familiarity with electrical tests like IR, Derating, Temperature raise, Dielectric strength, current cycling.
  • Hands-on experience with environmental chambers like climate chamber, thermal shock, oven.
  • Experience in UTM and pressure vacuum tests.

Job Details

Major Accountabilities:

Conduct comprehensive testing and failure analysis to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of automotive components.

Execute test procedures, analyze test results, and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.

Manage testing requirements throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with customer specifications, regulatory standards, and internal quality guidelines.

Need to be familiar with automotive component testing standards like USCAR,GMW ,IEC,VW etc.

Familiar in Electrical tests like IR, Derating,Temperature raise, Dielectric strength,current cycling etc.

Hands on experience in working with Environmental chambers like climate chamber, thermal shock, oven etc.

Experience in UTM, pressure vacuum test etc.
