The Technical Game Designer will be responsible for preparing, editing, integrating, and setting up animation and graphic assets in the game engine. They will work with Spine projects, optimize performance, maintain asset storage, analyze implemented solutions, and collaborate with various departments. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and a love for games. Additional skills like basic animation, programming, and experience with game engines are a plus.
Must have:
  • 1+ year as a technical game designer or tech artist.
  • Practical experience with animation tools, mainly Spine.
  • Experience working with JSON and YAML.
  • Experience working with Git.
  • Precision and attention to detail.
  • A love for games.
Good to have:
  • Basic animation skills in Spine.
  • Programming skills (JavaScript / TypeScript or any other language).
  • Experience working with game engines (Unity, Unreal, Godot, etc.).
  • Having personal pet projects.
  • Experience in game development and/or web development.

Job Details

Fight Me! is an exciting browser-based idle fighting game that puts you in the role of a fight club manager. Your mission is to collect and train the best fighters to lead them to the title of ultimate champion. The game features an innovative in-game power-up system, allowing your fighters to unlock new abilities with each level, increasing their value and strength.

 

The game blends the genres of battler and collectible card game, offering players a wealth of new game design possibilities. This fusion creates an entire universe with unique 2D art style, high-quality visuals, and captivating animations.

 

We are currently looking for a specialist to fill the position of Technical game designer, who, together with colleagues, will work on a new promising game project from the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, editing, marking up, integrating, and setting up animation and graphic assets in the game engine.
  • Working with Spine projects from the animation team, including optimization efforts to improve performance.
  • Maintaining order and structure in asset storage within the project.
  • Analyzing implemented solutions and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating closely and directly with the Game Design, Dev, Animation, Art, and UI/UX departments.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year as a technical game designer or tech artist.
  • Practical experience with animation tools, mainly Spine.
  • Experience working with JSON and YAML.
  • Experience working with Git.
  • Precision and attention to detail.
  • A love for games.

What would be a plus:
