Job Description

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners. Responsibilities include collaborating with team members to understand work problems and program goals, prioritizing program goals, defining project scopes and plans, reviewing key metrics and defining corrective actions, and identifying and communicating with stakeholders to drive impact. This role requires experience in program management, cloud technology or AI/ML, and data centers/networking. The position involves managing cross-functional projects, vendor management, and a deep understanding of data networking architectures.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years program management experience
  • Cloud technology or AI/ML experience
  • Data center, networking, or telecom experience
  • Collaborate with stakeholders
  • Prioritize program goals

Minimum qualifications:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
  • Prioritize program goals, understand and translate other stakeholders’ needs into program goals and prioritized deliverables with minimal assistance, and contribute to decisions on prioritizing goals and deliverables.
  • Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, or manage project plans for supported program(s).
  • Review key metrics pertaining to a program, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.
  • Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals.
