Job Description

As a Technical Program Manager at Google's Spaces Program Management Office in Hyderabad, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. You'll collaborate with stakeholders, plan requirements, manage project schedules, and communicate effectively across teams. You'll work on distributed systems, storage solutions, applications, and new platforms, building first-party platforms for developer infrastructure, including data-bridge, Symphony, and ML. Responsibilities include managing technology programs, defining milestones, allocating resources, and ensuring on-time delivery. You'll also develop tools and processes to improve software engineering productivity and communicate progress to all levels of the company. This role demands strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, with experience in leading other program managers.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience building, automating, and developing distributed systems from the ground up.
  • Experience with leadership roles, leading other program managers through program strategies, project execution, and risk management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience managing software engineering programs.
  • Ability to run and deliver results on technical projects and develop strategies to align to business requirements from customers or partner teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management.
  • Excellent technical, investigative and quantitative skills.

You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
