About the job

The HR Technology Release Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire product release process, ensuring that changes and/or projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with business objectives. This role involves close collaboration with functional product managers, IT and key stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination between development, testing, and release phases. This position will drive process improvements, governance, and reporting for the change and project activity in HR Technology, while ensuring alignment with overall company strategies.

Primary Responsibilities Include

  • Lead the end-to-end release management process, ensuring delivery of changes for break-fix solutions, enhancements, maintenance activities and projects.
  • Oversee project planning, monitoring, and execution across functional domains to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Develop and manage a detailed release calendar and coordinate cross-functional dependencies.
  • Collaborate with product managers, IT, change management and stakeholders to ensure readiness for production releases.
  • Establish and maintain technology governance model, reporting/analytics of progress, and coordinate content from the HR tech team for standing communication protocols to stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in release management processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for product releases, ensuring that risks are mitigated and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Manage resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful sprint and/or project execution.


Required Skills

  • Any graduate with 6+ years of experience in project management, release management, or a related role.
  • Experience in leading releases for Oracle Fusion HCM and TMS suite of products is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders, managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Capable of managing and motivating cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to identify bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office tools, including MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and act as a project manager when needed.
  • Proficiency at grasping and leveraging new technical concepts quickly.
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision.
