Job Description

Are you ready to shuffle up and deal your way into an exciting career? Grosvenor Casino in Luton, is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Trainee Poker Dealers.

No prior experience? No problem! We provide comprehensive training to set you up for success in this dynamic role.

You will:

  • Welcome and engage with customers, creating a friendly and entertaining atmosphere
  • Deal cards efficiently and accurately while maintaining the flow of the game
  • Enforce game rules and maintain the integrity of play
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
  • Adapt to different player personalities and skill levels, providing appropriate interactions
  • Maintain a high level of security for the game, cash, and casino assets
  • Comply with all regulatory requirements, including licensing conditions and responsible gambling practices
  • Contribute to creating a fun and community-oriented environment for our guests

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 or older with legal right to work in the UK
  • No prior poker dealing experience required – full training provided
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with diverse customers
  • Basic math skills and ability to perform quick calculations
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and team player mentality
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity
