Job Description

The Warehouse/Logistic Coordinator will be responsible for leading a team, adapting to different situations, and training others on operational tasks. They will also be involved in route planning and preparation, task assignments, and monitoring route progress. Other responsibilities include ensuring compliance with transportation administration and maintenance processes, reporting variances, providing phone coverage, and resolving customer delivery issues. The role requires familiarity with computers, proficiency in English, and the ability to work independently, with attention to detail, and maintain a sustained pace while producing quality work. The job offers a rate of pay of $25.00/hr.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Rate of Pay: $25.00/hr- paid biweekly

  • Location: 504 Westport Parkway, Suite 100; Haslet, TX

  • 1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Mon. - Fri. (Weekends may be required)

Key Responsibilities:

* Ability to lead a team with experience doing so

* Adaptability

* Experience training others (even if it is just training peers on operational tasks)

* PIT equipment (turret truck, order picker, ride on pallet jack) experience preferred

* Bilingual in Spanish helpful

  • Human Resources/Workforce Leadership - Plan for and execute daily route planning & preparation; daily task assignments to couriers; route efficiency, plan for next day. Monitor route progress throughout the day, effect changes as appropriate.

  • Operational Excellence, Standards & Compliance - Utilize routing software to construct efficient well-planned routes that achieve high levels of TCS.

  • Monitor workflow to ensure all transportation administration and maintenance processes are followed (DVIR, BDIR, Fueling, IFTA, DQ)

  • Accountable to notify and Report to Management all variances to plan in Route Performance.

  • Support/Coverage - Provide phone coverage, including calls from drivers, customer service and other route related inquiries.

  • Provide backup coverage for vacant routes, absences as needed.

  • Ensure safety & security procedures are understood and followed

  • Resolve customer delivery issues.

  • Execute daily reporting of metrics as assigned.

  • Assist supervisor with courier check in / check out process.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with PC and other computer-related products/administrative experience  

  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English 

  • Work independently with minimal supervision 

  • Understand the importance of detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work at a sustained pace to meet production rates while producing quality work.

  • Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
