Romero Games Ltd is looking for an inspiring and creative Art Outsourcing Manager to join our growing team. As our Art Outsourcing Manager you will work alongside our Art Director and Lead Artist to bring unique visual worlds and experiences for players on PC and consoles. We are looking for an individual with experience, vision, and passion for creating cutting edge games. As part of an independent development studio, you will have a significant impact and contribute on multiple levels to the games we make.

Support the preparation of assignments for external outsourcing teams
Ensure that the visual direction and quality for our game is reflected in every asset
Review deliverables for quality and accuracy and provide feedback as required
Support the environment team with feedback at least once a week
Revise and adjust models and textures as needed in an effort to achieve best quality possible
Maintain outsource production schedule and manage multiple deliveries from different Artists / departments on a daily basis
Coordinate daily with our internal Artists, Tech Artists, Leads and Animators to process and export assets into the game engine and troubleshoot as needed
Professional Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Producer or Outsourcing Manager, preferably within the gaming industry.
AAA Game Experience: Proven track record with at least one shipped AAA game.
Unreal Engine Proficiency: Strong familiarity with Unreal Engine, including its art production workflows, asset integration, and optimization techniques. Ability to guide external teams in creating assets that align with Unreal Engine’s technical requirements.
Communication & Negotiation: Highly developed communication and negotiation skills, with an eye for detail. Capable of managing relationships with external vendors while ensuring clarity and mutual understanding.
Scheduling & Prioritization: Ability to collaborate with the internal team to prioritize tasks and create reliable schedules that meet project milestones and deadlines.
Art Production Pipeline Knowledge: In-depth understanding of art production pipelines, including expertise in various 3D software packages like Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, and Substance Painter. Ability to ensure external assets are seamlessly integrated into the game’s pipeline.
Quality Assurance: Strong ability to review deliverables for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet both artistic and technical standards.
Documentation & Feedback: Skill in providing clear, concise feedback to external teams, including writing detailed documentation and guidelines to support external asset creation.
English Language Skills: Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain instructions to external teams in a simple and clear manner.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the outsourcing process, ensuring a smooth workflow.

Experience in project planning and agile project management
