LSEG Pricing Service provides evaluated pricing daily for Fixed Income and Derivatives for over 2.9 million securities globally. Evaluated prices are used by asset managers, custodian banks, investment banks, and third-party vendors. Our mission is to provide accurate fair market value on all instruments held by our customers. LSEG Pricing Service has approximately 140 employees globally. Our teams are located in New York (including satellite offices around NYC), London, Paris, Tokyo, Singapore, Bangalore, Mumbai, Costa Rica, and Gdynia. Evaluations for international securities are performed by the evaluators in their local regions. Teams are divided by asset class in each region.
Team Overview:
The Bond Desk team within the Pricing Service specializes in Fixed Income and Derivative Evaluation Support, as well as Client Services. The Bond Desk Associate Market Analyst will interact directly with key customers and serve as a primary point of contact with evaluators across various asset classes within Pricing Services.
Monitor and analyze newly issued bonds, ensuring accurate and timely pricing integration into the evaluated pricing framework.
Research terms and conditions of newly issued bonds, view credit ratings & debt structure to evaluate bond.
Gather, assess, and interpret market color from various sources to support fair value pricing decisions and enhance pricing accuracy.
Help determine fair value for fixed income and derivatives securities using our proprietary tools and methodologies.
Determine right pricing method for a portfolio of bonds based on its characteristics.
Maintain cases up to date, follow up with our evaluation team as needed.
Meet the target dates of the production schedule.
Update customers on the status of their queries.
Handle pre-sales requests relating to the pricing of sovereign, corporate, asset-backed, and municipal fixed income securities.
Manage query case of individual client price challenges and coverage requests.
Serve as a key point of contact between pricing evaluators, clients, and internal teams to ensure transparency and alignment.
Bachelor’s degree (completed or pursuing final year) in finance, economics, or business administration.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
Customer service skills.
The ability to work with large amounts of data in spreadsheets.
Passion for capital markets and desire for learning.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving ability.
Attention to detail, proactiveness, sense of urgency and understanding of bond markets are key for the role.
Familiarity with case management software preferred.
Programming skills (Python, SQL, etc.) preferred.
