Automation Engineer Assistant Manager

Job Description
The Automation Engineer Assistant Manager will be responsible for ensuring the automation system meets Service Level Agreement (SLA) indicators. This includes coordinating with vendors for system improvements and maintenance to meet contractually set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The role emphasizes ensuring all work is performed safely and properly, conducting periodic system reviews with the team for reliability, and managing preventive maintenance schedules for both vendors and the internal team. Additionally, the position involves coordinating spare parts and inventory management, and acting as a liaison between Regional Operations and local Operations teams within the country for automation-related matters.
Must have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent
- 3-4 years of site installation experience in project handling
- Specialized in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or equivalent
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
Good to have:
- Master's Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Engineering
- PLC software and hardware knowledge/experience
- VFD calibration experience

Requirements :
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
- At least 3-4 Year(s) of Site installation experience in project handling for Indonesia or overseas
- Specialized in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent.
- PLC (software and hardware) knowledge and experience will be advantageous
- VFD calibration experience will be advantageous
- Good commands of English, both written and spoken.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure the SLA indicators set for the automation system are met
- Coordinate with vendor(s) for improvements and maintenance of the system if it does not meet the KPIs set out by the contract
- Ensure all work is carried out in proper and safe manner
- Review of system periodically with team to ensure reliability
- Preventive maintenance scheduling for vendor or internal team
- Coordination of spare parts and inventory management
- Liason for Regional Ops and local Ops team in country for automation
