Cape Cod Trackman Data Coordinator

Join Trackman Baseball and the Cape Cod Baseball League as a Trackman Data Coordinator Intern. Trackman utilizes cutting-edge 3D Doppler radar technology to capture comprehensive ball-tracking data, which is leveraged by all Major League teams, over 300 NCAA programs, and more than 1,000 stadiums worldwide. 

We are seeking 10 motivated interns—one for each Cape Cod Baseball League team—to operate the Trackman system during home games and assist during away games. Interns will travel with their assigned teams, contribute to data analysis, and work closely with baseball operations departments. Responsibilities may include data analysis, roster management, player development support, advanced scouting assistance, and other baseball operations tasks. 

Trackman internships have a strong track record of helping students secure full-time roles in baseball upon graduation. 

Responsibilities 

• Set up rosters and enter game data into the Trackman system. 

• Monitor and log game data, ensuring accuracy and making real-time adjustments. 

• Troubleshoot system issues, correct errors, and upload game data. 

• Maintain Trackman equipment and ensure proper system functionality. 

• Assist Trackman’s data operations team with data requests and evaluations. 

• Ensure data quality, including player tracking, play results, and pitch accuracy. 

• Provide analytical support to coaches and front-office staff as needed. 

• Generate reports and insights as requested by baseball operations personnel. 

• Collaborate with the team’s Baseball Operations Department and Trackman for additional duties. 

• Current college student or recent graduate in Sports Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Management, Sports Analytics, or a related field. 

• Strong computer skills, including the ability to operate and troubleshoot technology-based systems. 

• Solid understanding of baseball rules, strategy, and analytics. 

• Availability to attend all home games and work evenings/weekends (June 10 - August 12). 

• Experience in project management is a plus. 

• Basic knowledge of databases and analytics is a plus. 

• Previous Trackman experience is strongly preferred. 

Additional Information 

• This is a seasonal position with no relocation assistance or benefits. 

• Interns must secure their own housing on Cape Cod for the summer. 

• Trackman will assist with internship credit requirements for college/university programs.
