Job Summary
Job Description
The Category Manager, Data Centers will support the development and execution of category strategies aligned with Google's organizational objectives. This role requires strong communication skills in English and Thai to interact with stakeholders. Responsibilities include building and maintaining supplier relationships, executing sourcing strategies, analyzing spending patterns and market trends, and generating reports to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in multi-disciplined procurement roles within a critical infrastructure environment, with a proven ability to leverage technology and data-driven decision making. Project management skills are also essential for leading initiatives aimed at improving procurement processes.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in multi-disciplined procurement
- Strong communication in English and Thai
- Experience in critical infrastructure procurement
- Data analysis and reporting skills
- Excellent project management skills
Good to have:
- Experience with commercial and cross-functional partners
- Experience developing and managing KPIs
- Experience leveraging technology and analytical tools

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Finance, Business, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in multi-disciplined procurement roles, leading strategy development, execution and sourcing or a related function.
- Ability to communicate in English and Thai to interact with local stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in working with commercial, contracting and cross-functional partners to ensure compliance with Legal and Company standards within the category.
- Experience in procurement in the critical infrastructure environment.
- Experience in developing and managing key performance indicators and metrics to measure category performance.
- Experience in leveraging technology and analytical tools to enhance practices and drive data-driven decision-making along with the ability to analyze procurement data, generate reports, and provide insights to support performance evaluation.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead projects or initiatives aimed at improving procurement processes, implementing new strategies.

- Support development and execution of category strategies aligned with organizational objectives for assigned indirect spend categories.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality service delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Support execution of sourcing strategies, Request For (X) processes, discussions, and supplier evaluations within designated categories.
- Analyze spending patterns, market trends, and identify value opportunities within the category.
- Analyze procurement data, generate reports, and provide insights to support decision-making and performance evaluation within the category.
