Job Description

The Communications Specialist coordinates the internal and external messaging of the Ubisoft Philippines Studio.

You will define, implement, and execute the local communication strategy and ensure that the communication needs of the studio and of the Ubisoft group are being fulfilled locally.

You will lead and monitor events and all our communication platforms, sharing our brand as Ubisoft to our target audiences.

Employer Branding & Communications Strategy

  • Define, implement and execute a local communication strategy that supports the business goals of the studio and of the group
  • Design and deliver a strong employer branding strategy and plans, closely linked to the Talent Acquisition and Development plans and strategies
  • Create local communication campaigns & media alerts
  • Shape local key messaging

Content Creation and Planning

  • Position engaging studio content within the network and the group channels
  • Plan and create content for all studio platforms (e.g. social media channels, intranet, and newsletters)
  • Monitor, respond and engage with the studio’s followers in external channels
  • Monitor, respond and engage with the employees on internal communications channels

Event Management and Execution

  • Execute the monthly studio town halls and other regular celebrations
  • Identify, conceptualize and execute local events

PR and Media Relations

  • Serve as the point of contact for all local communication related inquiries
  • Identify speaker and speaking opportunities for the studio and its products
  • Provide media training to local speakers

Studio Engagement & Support

  • Provide the employees with studio, network and group updates
  • Support the implementation and execution of network and group events
  • Support the transversal team with the implementation and execution of other events and initiatives (including creation of job ads and posters)
  • Lead the team in the application to local awards and recognition opportunities
  • Support in the design of studio swag

Qualifications

What You’ll bring as experience:

  • Experience in communication and / or marketing/public relations 
  • Great understanding and relevant experience in Employer Branding
  • Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in crisis communication
  • Experience in event planning and execution
  • Knowledge in basic graphic design and video editing
  • Knowledge of the gaming, technology or media/entertainment industries is a plus

  • Ability to prioritize between multiple projects
