Job Description

The Content Manager plays a crucial role in the Content Management Team, efficiently managing content within the CMS, interacting with clients and internal teams, and developing new skills. Responsibilities include populating and editing content in the CMS, managing assets and data, understanding project briefs, and managing client relationships. The role requires a detailed orientation and involves working closely with Project Managers and the QA Team. The job involves the use of CMS such as WordPress, Drupal, or AEM and requires advanced English proficiency. Problem-solving skills, experience in building documentation, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with Agile Methodology and Jira are also essential. The role also requires good customer focus, decision-making skills, and strong time management skills.
Must have:
  • Populate and edit content in the CMS
  • Basic understanding of HTML
  • Manage assets and data as tags, tracking codes, product data, images, and copy
  • Understand the brief and manage the relationship with Project Managers and the client
Good to have:
  • Experience with CMS such as WordPress, Drupal, or AEM
  • Advanced English
  • Problem-solving approach
  • Well-experienced in building and managing documentation as guides and step-by-step docs
  • Microsoft Office, good understanding of such programs as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Agile Methodology experience
  • Previous experience working using Jira

A Hybrid working model

We have embraced a hybrid working model, which allows our employees to split their time between the office and other locations. The expectation is that working life at Hogarth will involve working from the office for an average of 4 days per week for most people. What does a Content Manager do at Hogarth?

The Content Manager plays a vital role in the successful running of activities alongside the Content Management Team by providing impeccable management of content inside the CMS, while interacting with clients and the internal team and developing new skills.

 

Reporting lines and key stakeholders:

This role reports to the Content Management Lead and Production Lead.
You will work closely with the Project Management and QA Team.
The Content Manager sits on the Content Management team.

Requirements

Key Areas of Responsibility

- Populate and edit content in the CMS;
- Basic understanding of HTML;
- Manage assets and data as tags, tracking codes, product data, images, and copy;
- Understand the brief and manage the relationship with Project Managers and the client;
- Detailed orientation is a ‘must-have’;

Technical Skills and Requirements

- Experience with CMS such as WordPress, Drupal, or AEM.
- Advanced English;
- Problem-solving approach;
- Well-experienced in building and managing documentation as guides and step-by-step docs;
- Microsoft Office, good understanding of such programs as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Agile Methodology experience;
- Previous experience working using Jira.
