Our Advisory practice provides a wide range of services aimed at helping clients execute transactions, improve business performance, and manage risk. We are currently looking for the right people to join the Deals team within our Advisory practice. The Deals team focuses mainly on valuation services, financial due diligence work, capital market transactions, and corporate finance services.Your Mission
We are looking to recruit a Manager to further strengthen the team's capability. This opportunity will see you join a leading and dynamic team with a strong market reputation in a managerial capacity. Amongst other things, you will be responsible for the following activities:
Valuations of businesses in the context of transaction activity;
Financial reporting and tax-related valuations such as purchase price allocations, financial instruments, impairment testing, employee and executive share options, and other assets;
Buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements in the context of M&A transactions;
General corporate finance and M&A advice including cost of capital analysis, capital management and deal value analysis;
Assisting clients on capital market transactions, including the preparation of financial due diligence report in the context of a bond issue, valuation of the equity share capital in the context of an IPO, and general assistance in the listing process;
Investment analysis to better inform key investment choices;
Assist in the management and delivery of large projects;
Train, coach, and supervise staff;
Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen; and
Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues.
The ideal candidate should have:
Accountancy qualification
4-5 years of experience in financial advisory relating to corporate finance, capital market transactions, M&A, corporate valuations, due diligence, and business recovery
Sound technical knowledge with the ability to build financial models
Strong analytical skills
Ability to deliver quality written work
Good communication skills and ability to present complex business issues in a clear and articulate way
Ability to strengthen existing and build new client relationships
Ability to coach and manage junior members of staff and
General commercial awareness

Be focused on delivering insight to help our clients get the best possible outcome from complex business issues, including realising the best value from a corporate transaction, or restructuring a business
Manage projects independently and assume day-to-day client contact role
Have the opportunity to develop and apply a diverse skill base in new and innovative ways to deliver value and build long-term relationships with clients and
Support senior management in the development of new business in the sector, including preparation of proposals and pitches, attendance at presentations and identifying opportunities for sell-on of existing work.
