Nasdaq Technology is looking for a passionate Paralegal with a focus on drafting, proofreading and regulatory filings, to join the Mumbai center in India.
With this position we offer:
You will work directly with our attorneys to draft, proofread and submit regulatory filings, prepare for upcoming cases, work with our external counsels, and get involved in special projects as needed, such as maintaining our exchange rulebooks. You will work in a fast-paced legal department where you might have to perform various tasks on more than one project simultaneously. Composure and ability to multitask is important. You are the ideal candidate for this position if you are organized, professional, responsible, and committed to helping us meet all our regulatory and business clients’ needs.
Your role and responsibilities:
- Conducts and coordinates legal research.
- Prepares correspondence and legal documents.
- Acts as liaison among internal departments.
- Tracks and monitors for existing cases.
- Prepares initial drafts of SEC filings.
- Files regulatory filings and comment letters.
- Assist with document productions.
- Assists with PowerPoint presentations.
We expect you to have
- At least 3 years experience as a paralegal, preferably with a corporate legal department.
- Conducts and coordinates legal research.
- Familiarity with the financial services sector, SEC regulatory filings
- Prepares correspondence and legal documents.
- Acts as liaison among internal departments.
- Tracks and monitors for existing cases.
- Prepares initial drafts of SEC filings.
- Files regulatory filings and comment letters.
- Assist with document productions.
- Assists with PowerPoint presentations.
- Education Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
