Job Description

As a Customer and Partner Solutions Engineer in the Privacy Web Ecosystem, you'll be responsible for preparing the web and ad-tech ecosystems for major changes Chrome will be making to improve privacy on the web, including the planned third-party cookie depreciation. You'll drive early testing and adoption of Privacy Sandbox APIs while collecting, synthesizing, and sharing early partner feedback with Chrome product and engineering teams. You'll also provide technical and consultative support to web partners to help them prepare, implement, test, and migrate to new Privacy Sandbox APIs, while satisfying business needs. You'll understand and represent the various interests and needs of a diverse set of partner, platform, and ad-tech verticals (e.g., News, Commerce, CMS, CDNs). You'll work on integration solutions across multiple products and teams, acting as a bridge between technical and business stakeholders.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP)
  • 3 years of experience coding with JavaScript
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting
  • Experience managing internal/external partners or customers
Good to have:
  • Knowledge or experience with industry advertising solutions, including targeting, remarketing, measurement, and reporting
  • Experience working with the ad tech ecosystem
  • Knowledge of the major tools, technologies (front and back-end) and challenges facing web developers
  • Ability to distill disparate observations into structured insights / feedback and trend reports
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent technical writing skills and experience writing detailed technical documentation

Minimum qualifications:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$174,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
