The Customer Service Coordinator acts as the primary point of contact for Disney Studios Australia, handling inquiries from tenants, productions, and staff. Responsibilities include managing reception (phone, mail, visitors), responding to service requests (Facilities Maintenance, IT, Telecommunications), tracking tasks, coordinating resources, and ensuring timely resolution. The role requires excellent communication, multitasking abilities, and the ability to prioritize urgent tasks. Collaboration with third-party providers for cleaning and waste is also part of the responsibilities, along with general office and finance administration support. The successful candidate will be organized, diligent, outgoing, and possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Occupying a 32-acre site and providing facilities of the highest industry standards, the studio features nine sound stages, several production offices, workshops, and hosts around 50 independent entertainment industry businesses. The history of the site provides an eclectic mix of new and old buildings, and manicured landscapes create proportion and space.

The Customer Service Coordinator will represent the face of Disney Studios Australia, as a first point of contact for enquiries (in person/over the phone). Embracing a positive Customer Service focused attitude, the Help Desk’s primary function is to respond to all requests in a timely and effective manner.

This role is a key point of communication between all tenants, productions and staff of DSA. The successful candidate will act as a single site-wide point of contact for the receiving of all service requests and generation of workflows in relation to Facilities Maintenance, Information Technology, and Telecommunications. 

The position requires an organized, diligent outgoing individual with strong interpersonal and organisational skills who can operate autonomously and with confidence in attending to enquiries and requests. The incumbent must prioritise service requests, identifying and elevating urgent tasks for completion by DSA personnel and or contractors.  The individual must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and display the ability to multitask.

The hours for this role are 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

Your key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Manage Disney Studios Australia reception – inbox, phone line, mail, couriers, greeting all site guests on arrival

  • Respond to all service requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that tasks are tracked and resolved

  • Coordinate the appropriate resources so that the service request is completed satisfactorily

  • Ensure that tenants and productions are kept up to date with activities that effect the site

  • Working closely with third party providers to handle cleaning and waste requests

  • General office duties as required

  • Finance administration support

To be successful in this role, you will hold:

  • Previous administration experience – ideally in a fast-paced customer service role

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Positive, proactive, and engaging customer focus

  • The ability to manage multiple contact points simultaneously
