This role involves supporting Small, Medium, and Corporate (SMC) customers in achieving their business objectives through digital engagement and partner co-selling. As a Digital Technology Specialist, you'll engage with customer technical decision-makers, anticipate needs, and contribute to strategy development. Responsibilities include conducting technical engagements, contributing to sales processes, sharing competitive insights, providing strategic technical input, overseeing solution demonstrations (ADS, POC), building readiness plans, conducting training, monitoring tech communities, and mentoring colleagues. The position requires strong technical pre-sales or consulting experience and fluency in French and Arabic.

  • 3+ years technical pre-sales/consulting experience
  • Fluency in French and Arabic

Microsoft Technical Specialists identify and win over the technical decision maker in the Business and IT department of our Enterprise Customers. You will drive technical decisions at the customer that helps them achieve Business value with the Microsoft Platform, and thereby secure long-term sustainable growth for Microsoft. You will be a key leader to helping customers embrace and succeed through digital transformation. This opportunity will allow you to accelerate your career growth, honing your solution sales and collaboration skills, and deepening your cloud expertise. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50%.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms AND 3+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
    • OR equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting, or related experience
  • 4+ years experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management
  • Certification in relevant (Microsoft or industry) technologies or disciplines (e.g., Microsoft 365, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture)
  •  

 

Responsibilities

  • You will engage with customer technical decision makers and anticipate customer needs and issues proactively through data gathering.
  • Engage in partner sell-with scenarios by contributing to the facilitation of technical engagements and partnering with colleagues to manage the sales process as well as share competitive insights from customer sessions with colleagues and escalate/resolve competitive situations to influence compete strategies.
  • You will provide strategic, technical input based on Microsoft capability to contribute to strategy development, leveraging partner and internal teams.
  • You will identify and apply existing demonstration assets and oversees demonstrations (e.g., architectural design sessions [ADS], proof of concept [POC] sessions) of solutions based on specific Microsoft products through initial engagements. Leverages partner/customer teams as needed to prove capabilities and integration into customer environment. Reviews partner demonstrations and provides feedback to ensure alignment with Microsoft standards.
  • You will build your readiness plan and proactively identify learning gaps. Grows domain knowledge and practice expertise by communicating with customers, partners and senior colleagues to expand knowledge of architecture.
  • You will conduct group training or one-to-many events (e.g., workshops, Webinars) or leverage existing scale enablement programs to present and educate customers and colleagues on the capabilities and benefits across Microsoft solutions/products.
  • You will monitor and respond to internal and external tech community posts, attend community calls, sessions, hackathon, etc., and act as a mentor for your technology area and contribute and participate in Customer Executive Briefing Center sessions.
