As the Director of Industry Strategy, Industrial Vertical, you will partner with a diverse ecosystem of sales (growth), customer success (client partner), and practice teams to bolster our value proposition and enable a coordinated go-to-market strategy. You will also engage with senior executives at key strategic clients as an ambassador for our industry vision. The ideal candidate is a strong strategic thinker with deep experience in the Industrial sector (Foodservice, Manufacturing, Automotive, CPG, Infrastructure, etc.). This high-visibility role reports to the Vice President of Industry Strategy within the Diversified Business Unit.
Information Security Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
- Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead the digital marketing transformation strategy for a strategic Fortune 100 client
- Define and implement a data-driven, cross-channel strategy to achieveprogram objectives including enhanced brand visibility, increased audience engagement, and decreased customer acquisition costs
- Partner with client’s senior leadership team to create executive-level briefings and readouts
- Contribute to the business unit’s B2B strategy plan; build a vision and compelling positioning that resonates with executives
- Partner with service lines to realize the operation of the strategy
- Serve as a key contributor to developing Bounteous’ perspective on customer experience in Industrial markets; collaborate with digital strategists, technologists, data scientists, and other specialists to craft a powerful point-of-view
- Identify and develop an ecosystem of data providers and industry-specific technology partnerships to solve for a broader set of industry challenges
- Drive and manage the development of key B2B thought leadership; present our industry point-of-view to senior customers and prospects in account meetings, customer roundtables, conferences, and industry events
- Success in this role will be measured by client satisfaction of key account(s) and driving growth in Bounteous’ Industrial vertical by helping set the vision for experience-led digital transformation and by positioning Bounteous as a key strategic partner in this process
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience and credibility with digital initiatives and marketing strategy, either client-side or as a trusted advisor
- 8+ years of relevant experience with leading IT companies, agencies and/or management consultancies in a business strategy or digital strategy role
- Experience driving digital transformation initiatives as part of an enterprise CX strategy; proven understanding of the technologies and tactics needed to operationalize them
- Experience directing development of a business case for investment including ROI, roadmap, and KPIs
- Understanding of and experience with effective use of data (collection, integration, segmentation, activation, and compliance requirements) in the B2B/Industrial segments
- Digitally-savvy and informed on innovations, trends and technologies in the digital space; expert understanding of the best approach to implement new strategies that impact outcomes and drive digital transformations
- Excellent business acumen; proven ability to think strategically about business, customer experience, and technical challenges; an entrepreneurial approach to finding new growth levers for the business
- Proven track record of building long-term relationships with clients by serving as a trusted advisor
- Identify and pursue new opportunities for service expansion and upselling within existing accounts
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets and expand our footprint within client organizations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills a must, including interest in authoring thought-provoking points-of-view and conducting customer and market research
- Experience facilitating workshops and driving collaborative worksessions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including talent for conducting research, analyzing data, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing recommendations
- Outstanding executive presence and presentation skills; the ability to inspire, engage, partner with, and influence senior leadership
- Highly collaborative with ability to lead through influence in a matrixed environment
- Self-driven, ability to work independently, define a way forward, and solve problems with little to no direction; capacity to deal with high levels of ambiguity and organizational complexity
- A strong sense of urgency and flexibility; ability to work under pressure; demonstrate determination and persistence
- BA/BS degree or equivalent consulting agency experience preferred
- Master’s or PHD degree a plus
- Ability to travel and/or be onsite at client offices up to 50%
$136,000 - $167,000 a year
Individual pay is determined by many factors, including experience, relevant education or training, and organizational needs. The mid-range to maximum of the salary range is generally reserved for individuals who are highly experienced in the role.
