This role is a great opportunity for someone with sound experience in budgeting and forecasting to have key inputs into the day-to-day operations of the wider company. You will need the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced and changing environment and be rewarded with some great commercial exposure to our growing business!

Where and how you can work.
The position is based in Brisbane, Australia, and we have offices in Darwin, Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, and Wellington. At Entain AUS & NZ, we value a flexible work environment and support a hybrid working model, with employees spending two days a week at the office (Tuesdays & Thursdays), ensuring work-life balance and individual preferences. We are lookng for this role to start in January.

Your day-to-day...

• Review month-end transactions and prepare journals for the finance team.
• Work with the finance team to ensure compliance with internal controls, risk management frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee specific cost centre budgets and assist with collating Information from key business partners.
• Present financial insights in meetings and assist in translating complex financial data into understandable terms for non-financial teams.
• Guide the HR/Payroll team when needed.
• Champion the use of data-driven decision-making and digital tools in financial analysis.

What you’ll bring...

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business partnering/ commercial finance roles.
• A bachelor’s degree in the business/commerce discipline.
• Strong excel skills including experience of constructing complex yet understandable financial models (P&L and Balance Sheet).
• Ability to thrive as part of a team within a changing, high-volume environment.
• Effective partnerships with the wider business to influence and be a key contributor to the financial management of the business.
