We are looking for a Financial Controller, focused on the – Record-To-Report (“RTR”) process for Gigafactory Berlin-Brandeburg. In this position, you'll provide financial analysis for management and act as a liaison between the consolidation department in Fremont USA, the finance teams in Amsterdam, and those responsible for business transactions.

• Directing and overseeing day-to-day financial reporting activities of Gigafactory Berlin, including advising on policies, processes, IT software tools and accounting issues
• Responsibility for complex areas of reporting. Responsibility for the monthly financial reporting activities, including account and variance analysis, as well as communicating with all levels of financial management
• Reconciliation from accounting principles US GAAP to HGB and vice versa
• Accompanying initiatives to improve processes and system analysis as well as efficiency and quality in transaction and financial reporting
• Interpretation of data on the company's financial development as part of the opportunity/risk assessment
• Identification of financial transactions and transactions that have not been booked in accordance with applicable accounting regulations and development of correction options
• Responsible for the timely preparation of the annual accounts and other mandatory financial reports within the area of responsibility. Responsible for the creation and submission of statistics and contact person for the authorities
