What will a day in your life in this role look like? We are glad you asked!
As a graphics programmer, you will play a critical role in bringing our video game worlds to life. You will work closely with the art team to create and optimize game assets, develop, and implement cutting-edge graphics technologies to enhance the player experience. You will be responsible for ensuring that the game runs smoothly on a wide range of hardware configurations, while maintaining the highest level of visual quality. If you have a strong background in computer graphics and are passionate about pushing the boundaries of what's possible in video game graphics, we want to hear from you! Your task will include the following -
  • Implement core graphics features on the basis of Unreal Engine 5 and our custom technologies
  • Support the implementation of graphics-heavy tasks in cooperation with engine and gameplay programmers
  • Improve our graphics tools and work to make them easily accessible for all team members
  • Optimize performance by using industry standard tools like PIX, UE4 Profiler, NSight, Intel Frame Analyzer as well as custom specialized tools
  • Coordinate with tech artists, 3D artists and art direction to realize the best graphics we can have
We would love it if you have these skills:
  • C++ experience
  • Several years of Unreal Engine 4/5 graphics programming or relevant experience in other engines, including knowledge of rendering interfaces, decal systems, mesh formats, shaders.
  • Ability to research and transfer scientific and industry insights and best practices into our games
  • Hands-on experience with low level graphics programming (OpenGL, Vulkan, DirectX)
  • Math skills
  • Procedural Content Generation knowledge is a plus
