Job Summary
Job Description
This is a permanent position for a Senior Game Developer. The role requires experience in building games or real-time applications, either in Unity (2018 or higher) with C# and .NET, or in UE4 with C++. The candidate should possess excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. The job involves working collaboratively in a team, self-motivating, and managing tasks in a remote environment. Candidates should be able to quickly understand existing code and write optimized and extendable code. They should be proficient in C, C++, and/or C#, and familiar with source control like Git. The ability to debug and profile code is crucial, and a secure remote working environment is necessary. The salary is in the range of R40,000 to R70,000+ per month, based on skill level and experience.
Must have:
- Experience building games in Unity 2018 or higher.
- Programming experience in C# and .NET.
- Excellent knowledge of Unity Scripting and Editor.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Ability to write optimized and extendable code.
- Proficient in C, C++, and/or C#.
- Familiarity with source control like Git.
Good to have:
- Understanding of 2D & 3D graphics pipelines.
- Understanding of game development optimization principles.
- Experience working on mobile, VR, or console platforms.
- Experience using DirectX or OpenGL APIs.
- Experience using JIRA or related tools.
- Passionate about video games.
- Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree.

Job Details
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- Experience building games or related real time applications in Unity 2018 or higher.
- Experience programming in C# and .NET.
- Excellent knowledge and familiarity with Unity Scripting and the Unity Editor.
OR
- Experience building games or related real time applications in UE4.
- Experience programming in C++.
- Excellent knowledge of Blueprints.

- Ability to diagnose issues through debugging and profiling code.
- Secure and comfortable remote working environment.
