Job Summary
Job Description
The Senior Games Programmer will be responsible for writing efficient and reliable Unity scripts using C#. They will also help the team identify and solve potential issues in the codebase. The role involves close collaboration with designers, artists, and other engineers to create game-play features. Furthermore, the programmer will be expected to write and maintain technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of game development challenges, including art workflow, performance optimization, memory management, and supporting multiple platforms. Excellent communication skills are also a must.
Must have:
- At least one shipped product on mobile or console platforms.
- Minimum of 2 years video games industry experience.
- Understanding of game development challenges.
- Working knowledge of version control software (SVN, Perforce).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good to have:
- Experience working in network game development.
- Knowledge of C++, LUA or JavaScript.
- Experience writing GPU shaders for mobile platforms.
