The Character Artist will collaborate with the production team to create assets for the mobile game Avakin Life. The role involves creating briefs, providing technical feedback, and working on a customizable avatar system. The artist will need to have a solid understanding of character and clothing production, design, and development, experience using Unity 3D, knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Maya, and/or Modo, and experience with skin weighting of characters and clothing. While animation skills are not required, an understanding of animation pipelines and mocap is beneficial. The artist will be expected to create high-quality assets and collaborate with programmers to achieve the best results.
