About the Role:
As a Game Business Analyst you will play a key role in formulating Sandsoft’s future through strategic market and data analysis. You will bring an in-depth understanding of the mobile games market, the ability to mine and analyze internal, open source and market data, and the ability to identify and capitalize new business opportunities.
You’ll be able to search, collect, distill and compile this data into compelling presentations to explain your strategic recommendations to your peers and the company decision makers. You will help Sandsoft to stay ahead of the competition by predicting market shifts and upcoming trends in this fast moving and rapidly changing mobile gaming market.
What you will be doing:
Leveraging all internal & external data sources to identify market opportunities
Monitoring and analyzing mobile game market and main competitors games
Regularly conduct competition benchmarking
Finding, analyzing and breaking down new emerging games
Monitoring and reporting on emerging Market Trends
Presenting reports and suggestions to all levels of management
Work with a wide range of internal clients including business development, product management, marketing, finance, data and leadership team
Analyzing market test numbers and building revenue projections based on KPI data
Supporting decision making on running and analyzing P&L calculation for new business cases
Alerting all internal teams on insights discovered from game evaluations or market analysis
Proposing new internal tools or adopting 3rd party to improve market analysis capabilities
What you will bring:
Good understanding of the mobile gaming industry, games and apps ecosystem
Passion for mobile F2P gaming
3-5 years of working experience in mobile gaming industry
Strong skills in BI tools such as Looker, Tableau or PowerBI and fluent in Excel, knowledge of game analytics, UA campaigns and metrics and market insights tools like Sensor Tower etc
Experience in quantitative data analysis
Good understanding on financials and building P&Ls
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Positive attitude and growth mindset
Fluency in English, both written and oral
