Head of QA (Unannounced project)

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Head of QA for our Game Engine team. This position involves complete oversight and management of testing processes, as well as active leadership in establishing and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the product development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, strong sense of responsibility, excellent leadership skills, and a collaborative approach to team management.

What will you do?

• Develop and implement a testing strategy to ensure high quality of new game engine.
• Manage testing processes, including automation and manual testing.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Lead the QA team in accordance with the current development model and HR policy goals:
  • Hire, transfer, motivate, evaluate, train, and develop team members.
  • Build and organize QA teams.
  • Develop and manage team budgets.
  • Establish and promote a culture of discipline and support in difficult situations.
  • Solve the conflicts, help and support in difficult situations.
• Establish the quality of interactions between QA engineers and with employees from other disciplines and products.
• Analyze test results, identify and address systemic issues and bugs.
• Develop and implement new testing tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and quality.
• English level B2 or higher.

What are we looking for?

• At least 7 years of QA experience, preferably in the game industry.
• Experience leading a QA team.
• Knowledge of modern testing methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Strong analytical skills, able to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with test automation, programming languages, and scripting.

Work mode

Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office)
