Job Description

As a Systems Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our portfolio administration systems. You will collaborate with the project team to review technical requirements, define test plans and test cases, plan and execute tests, and file defects. You will also develop strong relationships with internal customers and IS technical staff, provide test support to both local and remote teams, maintain systems documentation, and contribute to IS projects. This role requires strong attention to detail, professional demeanor, and the ability to adapt to a growing and changing environment. Key responsibilities include: * Experience testing cross-functional business applications. * Working knowledge of software quality control concepts and practices. * Experience with manual software testing processes. * Experience using automated software testing tools and processes. * Troubleshooting skills to resolve testing issues using development tools like SQL Server. * Creating, updating, and reviewing test documentation. * Familiarity with defect resolution processes and practices. * Experience with test case management, requirements, and defect tracking tools. * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. * Updating knowledge base and documentation. * Experience with backend and API testing and related test tools like SoapUI, Postman, etc. * Effective communication with developers, business analysts, testers, and business users. * Strong interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of business users and management. * Excellent organizational skills with motivation, self-direction, and good time management skills.

Experience providing quality assurance for web-based software solutions, web services and APIs
Team player
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapts to new technologies

Systems Tester, Portfolio Administration Systems

Gurugram, India

1:30PM to 10:00PM

We are looking for an enthusiastic Systems Tester to join our team in Gurugram, India. In this role,

Systems Tester will work with the project team to review technical requirements, define test plans, test

cases, plan execution, execute tests, and defect filing.

In addition to providing a very high level of customer service, you will develop strong relationships with

internal customers and IS technical staff. You will provide test support to both local and remote teams,

maintain systems documentation and contribute to IS projects.

Individuals applying for this position must be able to multi-task, have a strong attention to detail,

professional demeanor and be able to adapt into a growing and changing environment.

What You Will Do

Experience testing cross-functional business applications.

Work experience with software quality control concepts and practices.

Work experience using manual software testing processes.

Work experience using automated software testing tools and processes.

Troubleshooting skills and troubleshoot testing issues using development tools, for example, SQLServer, etc.

Ability to create, update, and review test documentation.

Knowledgeable of defect resolution processes and practices.

Work experience with test case management, requirements and defect tracking tools.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Update knowledge base and documentation.

Experience with backend and API testing and related test tools, for example SoapUI, Postman, etc.

What You Bring

Degree or diploma in computer science field, or Information Management, or Information Technology field.

Minimum of four years (4+yrs) of experience relevant to the role

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Experience with application support.

Experience with developer tools (SQL-Server, C#, VBScript, etc.)

Strong documentation skills

Experience with manual testing methods.

Experience with automated testing software.

Experience with test methods and processes (e.g. writing test strategies/test plans, setting up test environments, regression testing, performance testing, defect management).

Experience providing quality assurance for web-based software solutions, web services and APIs.

Team player.

Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapts to new technologies.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
