Image Sourcer and Researcher

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We are currently seeking a creative with image research and sourcing experience for our client, a digital agency. This is a remote, part-time freelance assignment.

This opportunity is perfect for a Junior Art Director or Designer looking to gain experience with a flexible, 10 hours/week commitment. In this role, you will support large-scale web redesign projects, helping to develop content for both high-level marketing landing pages and detailed, information-rich site pages. You’ll work alongside the creative team to source appropriate imagery that aligns with the project’s vision, drawing from a combination of client media libraries and stock photography.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the creative team in selecting imagery for web redesign projects, ranging from 20-40 site pages.
• Choose images from the client’s media library or appropriate stock photography, adhering to the project’s budget.
• Align imagery choices with the design and art direction established for each project.
• Translate written copy into compelling visual content that complements and enhances the user experience.
• Ensure visual balance and flow across content-heavy web pages.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional experience in graphic design or art direction.
• Strong understanding of how to translate a project’s art direction into visual content.
• Ability to interpret written copy and select relevant, non-cliché imagery that resonates with the target audience.
• A keen eye for visual balance and user experience, particularly in the context of web design.
• Experience working with both free and paid stock photography resources.
