Invoke seeks a Production Manager to coordinate and schedule their AAA game project from production to launch. Responsibilities include leading and coordinating multiple teams, ensuring smooth workflows and timely communication. The role involves tracking project progress, identifying risks, and mitigating challenges to meet deadlines and quality standards. The successful candidate will lead sprint planning, manage resource allocation, act as a communication bridge between teams, foster a collaborative environment, and implement industry best practices. Experience with AAA or mobile game production is essential.
Must have:
  • 5+ years in video game production management (AAA/mobile)
  • Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of game development cycles and methodologies
  • Team management and cross-functional alignment skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Excellent communication (French & English)

Job Description 

 

Invoke is looking for a Production Manager that will play an essential role in helping and supporting the coordination and scheduling of our AAA project from production through to launch. As the Production Manager, you’ll work closely with multi-disciplinary teams of designers, artists, programmers, and other team members to ensure that our game is delivered on time, within budget, and meets our quality standards.  

 

What you'll do as a production manager  
 

  • Support the production team to ensure objectives are met 

  • Lead and coordinate efforts across multiple teams to ensure smooth workflows, timely communication, and task completion 

  • Communicate schedules, status, risks, challenges, and solutions throughout the game development process 

  • Track and report on project progress, identifying any potential risks and proactively addressing and mitigating them, ensuring the teams meets deadlines without compromising on quality 

  • Lead sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives 

  • Coordinate resource allocation across teams, balancing workload and optimizing team performance 

  • Act as a communication bridge between different teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines 

  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to drive team morale and performance 

  • Implement and advocate for industry best practices in game development 

  • Continuously refine project management processes to enhance efficiency, streamline communication, and improve project outcomes. 

 
 What you'll bring 

 

  • 5+ years of experience in production management within the video game industry, ideally with AAA, mobile 

  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities 

  • Strong knowledge of game development cycles and methodologies 

  • Ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams, keeping them aligned and focused on project goals 

  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira 

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills 

  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities 

  • Passion for video games and a deep understanding of player experiences 

  • Excellent communication skills in French and English.
