We are a critically acclaimed Swedish game development studio with
about 190 experienced and skilled employees. We are most well-known for
developing the Warhammer: Vermintide franchise, but have also helped
develop a number of AAA titles and we launched the highly anticipated
game Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.
We have grown quite a bit over the last few years, but we still embrace the same values that we started with. We want to build the best first person co-op games together, in an approachable, fun and passion-driven way.
The role
We are looking for a Producer/Team Manager to join our newest game team working on an unannounced project. As a Producer/Team Manager at Fatshark, you will be at the forefront of driving a development team towards excellence. This hybrid role combines strategic leadership with hands-on team management, ensuring alignment with Fatshark's vision and fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.

What you'll do
- Implement the company’s vision and strategic direction within your team
- Foster a balanced, results-driven atmosphere where new ideas and flexibility are valued
- Attract, recruit, and onboard new talent while developing and coaching existing team members
- Conduct performance reviews, manage compensation, and ensure effective team performance
- Facilitate team ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Monitor team progress, key deliverables, and project milestones to ensure timely delivery
- Support efficient workflows using tools like Jira and optimize product development processes
- Collaborate with product owners, directors, and other teams for effective communication and resource allocation
- Drive studio-wide improvements and contribute to the Studio Management forum
- Ensure adherence to agreed-upon workflows and make informed decisions on task prioritization
Required qualifications
- Previous leadership experience, preferably across multiple sectors within video game development, entertainment, tech and IT
- Proven expertise in agile methodologies and project management
- Strong understanding of game/software development processes and team dynamics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Bonus qualifications
- Experience working with Jira or similar project management tools
- Detail-oriented mindset with a strong interest in game design
- Experience working with AAA game titles
- Technical background in game development
- Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the industry
