Job Description

As an Immigration Specialist, you will oversee all aspects of the immigration process, communicating with employees, gathering documents, reviewing files, and submitting applications. You'll manage business immigration cases from beginning to end, offering timely and clear immigration support. You will follow company onboarding and processing workflows, provide legal support, file submissions, and communicate updates to employees. You'll also improve the process by providing regular inputs, staying updated on immigration laws, managing travel arrangements, and coordinating with HR and Engagement teams. You will be the single point of contact for management during various travel and important meetings.
Must have:
  • 8+ years of immigration experience as a specialist.
  • Good reasoning, decision-making and communication skills.
  • Ability to function independently.
  • Extensive experience with inbound immigration expertise (India focused).
  • PAN Card Creation Experience.
  • Deep understanding of Indian visa categories and compliance procedures.
  • Proven track record in handling documentation and facilitating smooth onboarding.
  • Extensive hands-on experience managing inbound immigration processes for individuals relocating to India.
  • Familiarity with online and offline PAN application processes.
Good to have:
  • Experience of leading entire Immigration team and process.
  • Knowledge of immigration process for US, UK, Canada, Australia, and Spain.

Job Details

Key Purpose of the Job:
As an Immigration Specialist, you will oversee all aspects of the immigration process and will be responsible for communicating with employees, gathering application documents, reviewing files, and submitting applications. 
You will be responsible for an array of business immigration cases from inception to resolution and provide industry-leading service to employees by offering timely and clear immigration support.
You will be required to follow the outlined company-developed onboarding and processing workflows.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a consistent support to our employees by providing legal support and strategy right from the initiation to completion of process.
  • Prepare and file initial submissions, re-submissions, of forms, responses and suggestions.
  • Effectively communicate and provide regular updates to employees at all levels of the process.
  • Improving the process by active and regular inputs/ modifications.
  • Stay updated with the latest changes in the immigration related laws, international
  • Managing the travel/stay and ensuring a good experience for the employees traveling from abroad.
  • Working closely with the HR and Engagement teams to coordinate for various inhouse activities.
  • Be the SPOC for the management for internal arrangements during various travel/ important meeting and other such important occasions.
Must have:
  • 8+ year of business immigration experience as an Immigration Specialist
  • Good reasoning, decision-making and communication skills.
  • Should be able to function independently and limited handholding.
  • Must have extensive experience with inbound immigration expertise  ( India focused)
  • PAN Card Creation Experience - Practical experience in assisting individuals (especially foreign nationals or NRIs) in applying for and obtaining PAN cards in India.
  • Deep understanding of Indian visa categories (e.g., employment visa, business visa, OCI, etc.), FRRO/FRO regulations, and compliance procedures.
  • Proven track record in handling documentation, coordinating with legal and governmental bodies, and facilitating smooth onboarding for foreign nationals.
  • Extensive hands-on experience managing inbound immigration processes for individuals relocating to India.
  • Familiarity with online and offline PAN application processes, required documentation, and troubleshooting rejections or error
 
Nice to have:
  • Experience of leading entire Immigration team and process in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of immigration process for countries like - US, UK, Canada, Australia, and Spain.
