YouGov is looking to expand its B2B Editorial Team with an Editorial Graduate in Mumbai, India. This permanent, hybrid role starts in August 2025. The successful candidate will collaborate with existing writers and editors to produce data-driven articles showcasing insights from YouGov's tools across various sectors like tech and beauty. These content pieces will drive digital, PR, marketing, and social media activities, attracting prospects and engaging clients. The role involves creating content based on consumer data collected from over 27 million registered members globally, pioneering AI processes in data collection and content creation, and identifying interesting stories with actionable insights. Responsibilities include analyzing data, writing short-form content (blogs, analysis, profile pieces), working across different sector verticals, and potentially writing original survey questions. The role also offers opportunities to work autonomously, drive improvements in key metrics, and contribute to AI development in writing.

Here’s a summary of the role:    

YouGov is adding to its B2B Editorial Team. The person who fills the role will be responsible for working with the existing team of writers and editors in Mumbai, creating data-driven articles that showcase insights gathered using a range of YouGov tools. 
 
This is an exciting, varied position that will cover a wide range of sectors and markets – from tech to beauty. The content you create will be the basis for digital, PR, marketing and social activity, attracting prospects and engaging and informing existing clients. You will create data-driven content based on a keen sense of what is interesting to business readers and help us pioneer and embed AI processes in our data collection and content creation.  
 
What will I be responsible for? This role is designed to drive awareness of the YouGov brand in various markets through the creation of a steady stream of content that is based on the data we collect from consumers. In all, 27 million people across the world are registered to take our surveys. 

 

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):  

  • Learn how to use the wide range of intuitive data tools we sell to clients
  • Come up with ideas for content independently or work with senior stakeholders to come up with ideas for content
  • Analyse the data our tools provide to uncover interesting stories full of actionable insights
  • Turn data into a range of short-form content (blogs, analysis, profile pieces etc) to support the company’s marketing activities
  • Work across a range of sector verticals (e.g. automotive, sport, retail, leisure and more) to produce interesting and engaging content
  • Write and field your own questions in your own surveys to explore emerging trends or quantify existing ones
  • Work as part of a global content team which offers great support, help and advice
  • Work on a specific project to help us develop our capacity for harnessing AI in our writing and publication
  • Work autonomously and independently to drive improvements in key metrics like pageviews, open rates, impressions etc 

 

These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview: 

  • Excellent writing skills 
  • Excellent numeracy skills and the ability to interpret data effectively, as this will be a key aspect of the role 
  • The ability to conduct desk research about sectors and companies to discover what people in those industries are talking about 
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their capabilities (and weaknesses!) 
  • A keen news sense and natural curiosity about people, their behaviours, and habits 
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
