As the Client Associate, you will proactively support the senior team, taking responsibility for all administrative tasks within the team to ensure media campaigns run smoothly and to plan. You will build foundational knowledge and gain a solid understanding of the fundamentals of media processes.

What your typical day will look like

As the Investment Manager, you are the team’s go-to expert on all things TV. With a wealth of experience in TV planning and buying, you effortlessly navigate the complexities of campaign planning and execution. You take pride in being the problem solver and solution finder, always eager to elevate the capabilities of your colleagues.

In this role, you’ll leverage your extensive TV expertise to implement best practices and serve as a crucial link between our internal teams, external suppliers, and clients. You’ll be the specialist everyone turns to for insights on campaign performance. Our work environment is dynamic, offering you the chance to expand your skills into other areas of communications planning, including both digital and traditional media.

Reporting to the Client Director and Partner, this position will enable you to advance your media planning fundamentals to new heights with some truly exciting and dynamic clients.

This includes

  • Oversee the entire investment process, from briefing to buying media, and managing the workflow and quality of investment deliverables for Executive and Associate level team members.
  • Engage internal teams, external suppliers, and clients as the subject matter expert on all things investment for best practice, solutions, performance monitoring and optimisations.
  • Maintain and share your knowledge across the latest market developments within the TV industry, related platforms, best practices and tools across the Australian media landscape.
  • Lead the investment/TV buying, planning and supplier management alongside the Client Director, playing a key point of contact our external suppliers and partners.
  • Uplift the overall investment capability within the team, mentoring and sharing knowledge to junior team members.
  • Reporting and analysis of performance, and optimising campaigns against KPIs to ensure alignment to achieving client objectives alongside our suppliers.
  • Assist in people management tasks, including recruitment, performance reviews, and training as needed.
  • Project managing campaigns end to end and communicate across teams in a fast-paced environment.

A bit about you

  • An interest and eagerness to learn and understand the media and advertising marketplace, particularly within the traditional and TV/VOD media landscape.
  • Experience in an Investment heavy role (e.g. as a TV buying/planning) with accountability across the end-to-end process. 
  • A demonstrated business acumen teamed with a knack for data and an ability to grasp numerical and mathematical concepts.
  • Evolving leadership skillset and willingness to impart knowledge to lift overall capability of the team.
  • A collaborator personality is key, so effective communication skills is a must as we work in a dynamic environment.
  • You’re tech and data savvy, a practical thinker with ability to work with a high volume of numbers and a natural flare for problem solving.
