About the role
The IT Software Engineer position is within the MIS team, overseeing internal IT tasks. Reporting to the IT manager, the candidate will primarily be responsible for software/system-related tasks, encompassing implementation, configuration, development, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance. We are seeking candidates who can proactively research IT technology, propose innovative solutions, and contribute to efficiency and security improvements.
Responsibilities
- Automate/optimize existing processes (e.g., permission control, group setting, account management).
- Identify user needs and propose appropriate solutions.
- Translate user needs into technical specifications.
- Develop, test, implement, and maintain systems/tools.
- Develop workflows using BPM tools or other platforms.
- Design and implement the IT Help Service Portal.
- Support internal teams in implementing and maintaining systems/tools.
- Create training documents or implement innovative tools.
- Assume the role of system/tool custodian for daily operations.
- Handle ad hoc/routine tasks (e.g., report generation, system settings, account management).
- Host user training sessions.
- Conduct data integration via API or web service among different systems.
About you
[Minimum qualifications]
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Information Science, or a related field; or 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong self-study ability for technical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively or independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of coding experience.
- Experience in HR(Successfactor)& FIN(Oracle) or systems/tools development, maintenance, and implementation.
- Familiarity with any language for data analysis (Python preferred).
- Knowledge and skills for interacting with web APIs.
- Proficiency in HTML, Javascript, SQL, IIS (or other web servers), and Python.
- Self-driven and responsible.
- Ability to communicate technical details and requirements in English.

- SSO integration and implementation experience. (e.g., LDAP/AD, SAML)
- SaaS tool maintenance & integration experience. (e.g., G Suite, Oracle, Successfactors)
- AWS implementation/maintenance experience
- Experience in agile development projects.
- GCP configuration experience.
- 2 years of project management experience.
