Job Description

Playtech's Sports Quantum Retail unit seeks a Junior Customer Technical Support Officer to provide first-level technical support to customers via phone, email, or chat. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving basic technical issues related to software, hardware, or networks, documenting customer interactions, escalating complex issues, maintaining a knowledge base, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Collaboration with team members to improve processes and customer service is also expected. This role requires strong communication skills, basic IT knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team. Shift work, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...  

  • Provide first-level technical support to customers via phone, email, or chat
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues related to software, hardware, or network systems
  • Document and track customer interactions and technical issues in the support system
  • Escalate complex issues to senior technical support or engineering teams
  • Assist in maintaining a knowledge base of common customer issues and solutions
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely and effective support
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and customer service practices

Qualifications

  • Have strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of IT systems, software, and networks
  • Have ability to troubleshoot and diagnose basic technical issues
  • Have customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills
  • Have ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrate eagerness to learn and grow within the company
  • Can work on shifts (including weekends, public holidays, and night shifts)
  • Have 1+ year of experience in a technical environment in the role of Customer Technical Support will be a plus

We are looking for Junior Customer Technical Support Officer is responsible for the handling of day-to-day tasks and is considered the 1st level of support for the Customer Technical Support department and acts as the first point of contact between Playtech and our partners.
