The Logistics Coordinator will act as a key liaison between shippers and carriers to manage transportation solutions and ensure smooth, cost-effective freight movements. Responsibilities include sourcing and building carrier relationships, negotiating rates, managing the load lifecycle by tracking shipments and resolving issues, and staying informed about industry regulations. This role requires strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in transportation management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. The candidate should be able to multitask in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment to meet and exceed monthly KPIs related to load volume, margin, and service levels.
Must have:
  • Proven experience in Logistics or a related role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • High school diploma required.

Job Summary We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team in our future Little Rock, Arkansas location. In this role, you will act as the key liaison between shippers and carriers, managing transportation solutions and ensuring smooth, cost-effective freight movements. Principle Duties and Responsibilities * Source and Build Carrier Relationships: Vet and qualify carriers, Match loads with qualified capacity, develop and manage carrier networks. * Cover loads Efficiently: Negotiate rates with carriers and ensure competitive pricing for clients. * Manage the load Lifecycle: Track and trace shipments, providing proactive updates to clients. Resolve transportation issues, delays, or disputes efficiently. * Market Awareness: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and market trends. * Own Your Desk: Use logistics software and tools to manage shipments and documentation.
