The Opportunity

"As the Vice President of Software Security and Operations Engineering, you will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of software solutions that address both operational efficiency and security resilience. Applying DevSecOps principles, your leadership will be critical in shaping a scalable, secure, and seamless platform experience that empowers customers and internal teams. As a core member of the Engineering Leadership, you will collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Architecture, Cybersecurity, and Global Technology Services (GTS) to deliver an innovative, unified product experience that drives usability, accessibility, and reliability. Additionally, you will take ownership of resolving high-priority operational and security issues—ensuring swift resolution, root cause analysis, and long-term process improvements." - Chief Product and Technology officer

What You’ll Contribute

  • Define and champion a comprehensive security and operations strategy aligned with business objectives.

  • Establish measurable goals to drive excellence in security posture, system availability, and operational performance.

  • Design and implement scalable, proactive security architectures and controls.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manage enterprise-wide risk assessments, vulnerability management, and audit readiness.

  • Optimize end-to-end operational processes for system reliability, high availability, and performance.

  • Implement continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational maturity and innovation.

  • Develop and lead robust incident response plans and disaster recovery strategies.

  • Ensure quick resolution and minimal disruption from security breaches or operational failures.

  • Partner with product, engineering, and executive teams to embed security and operations into all aspects of the software development lifecycle and product roadmap.

  • Promote a culture of shared accountability and secure-by-design principles.

  • Evaluate and adopt emerging security technologies and operational tools to keep the organization ahead of threats and inefficiencies.

  • Drive automation and intelligence across platforms to enhance observability and threat detection.

  • Oversee the security and operational standards of third-party vendors and partners.

  • Ensure contractual compliance and enforce robust governance practices.

  • Build and lead a world-class team of Software Security and Operations Engineers.

  • Foster a high-performing culture focused on learning, ownership, and continuous improvement.

What We’re Seeking

  • Extensive experience leading Security Engineering, InfoSec, and IT Operations teams, with a focus on enterprise platforms, microservices, and APIs.

  • Deep knowledge of security frameworks, compliance standards, risk management, and DevSecOps methodologies.

  • Demonstrated success in running high-availability environments, optimizing operations, and responding to security threats.

  • Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, application security, network security, and data protection.

  • Ability to align diverse teams, influence decision-making, and foster cross-functional relationships.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach to complex technical and business challenges.

  • Skilled in presenting to executive leadership, communicating risks, and framing strategic investments.
