The Partner Communications Department ensures effective communication to driver, delivery, and merchant partners. This role involves building brand relationships by engaging with online community members, leading the editorial content calendar, collaborating with teams for message alignment, and providing feedback on trends. The Partner Social Media Community Manager will report directly to the Head of Ops Special Projects and work 5 days a week from the Ortigas office, ensuring team collaboration and production consistency. Key responsibilities include leading Partner Communications teams across Grab Philippines business units, strategizing communications, managing the communications calendar, collaborating with creative teams for content and community inquiries, and ensuring strategic alignment in messaging for driver partners.
Must have:
  • 5+ years managing communications leads
  • Strong Filipino and English writing/speaking skills
  • Understanding of gig economy industry

Get to Know the Team

The Grab Partner Channels Department ensures that communications to driver, delivery, and merchant partners are effective, and clear through multiple channels and media. Our team collaborates with progressive thinkers from different operational and marketing departments to shape the driver's journey, perception, and relationship with Grab.

Get to Know the Role

The Partner Social Media Community Manager builds brand relationships by engaging with online community members. Lead the editorial content calendar, collaborate with teams to align messages, and adjust tone. Provide feedback, monitor trends, and explore strategies to engage the community and convert members into advocates.

You will report directly to the Head of Ops Special Projects. You will work from the office 5 days a week in our Ortigas office, ensuring team collaboration and production consistency.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Lead the Partner Communications teams across the different business units of Grab Philippines
  • Strategizes the communications requirements, go to market, and calendar of the different business and horizontal priorities for drivers
  • Manages the communications calendar, Driver branding with the Driver Engagement teams, ensuring understanding of the business strategies and local communication needs
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to produce content, respond to community inquiries, and maintain relationships with key influencers
  • Work with different departments to ensure strategic alignment and consistency in messaging for driver partners

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • 5+ years of experience managing a team of communications leads across different businesses / service lines
  • Writing and speaking skills in both Filipino and English, with fluency in Bisaya considered an advantage.
  • Experience and clear understanding of the gig economy industry and levers
