Job Description

The Manager, Scaled Technical Solutions, Mid-Market Sales, at Google's gTech Ads Solutions team, leads a team providing consultative services and technical solutions to advertising customers. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and stakeholder management skills. Responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact for product and Revenue Activation teams, developing new service offerings, driving scalability of technical solutions, and ensuring strategic alignment with customer needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in solution engineering, architecture, team management, and working with ad tech products. They will also possess strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to formulate data-driven proposals. The team leverages technology to scale advertising solutions across industries using Search Ads 360, measurement, and shopping products.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent
  • 12+ years solution engineering/architecture experience
  • 5+ years stakeholder management/consulting experience
  • 5+ years managing a technical team
  • 3+ years coding experience (Python, Java etc.)
  • Ad tech and online advertising experience
  • Lead technical solutions consultants
  • Develop new service offerings
  • Drive scalability of technical solutions
Good to have:
  • MBA or related Master's degree
  • Systems design or coding experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP)
  • Project management, leadership, analytical skills

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in solution engineering or architecture and 5 years of experience in stakeholder management, professional services, or technical consulting.
  • 5 years of experience managing a technical team in a customer-facing role.
  • 3 years of experience writing code in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
  • Experience working with ad tech products and the online advertising industry.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in a related technical field.
  • Experience in systems design or coding in a general purpose programming language and working with web technologies (i.e., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP).
  • Effective project management, people and leadership skills, analytical capabilities, and demonstrated ability to formulate data-driven proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Technical Solutions Consultants who provide consultative services and technical solutions to advertising customers across Search Ads 360, measurement, and shopping products.
  • Act as primary point of contact for product and Revenue Activation teams within the Google Customer Solutions (GCS) organization to manage and communicate processes and metrics that enable business strategy.
  • Deliver the strategic vision for the organization, work with Sales teams, product leads, and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment with customer needs and coordinated execution for key priorities.
  • Develop new services offerings for the team as aligned with organizational goals of product and service activation organizations.
  • Drive scalability of technical solutions and execute towards the maximum value of our technical services to all customers.
