About the role:
Reporting to the Nyon Employee Experience and Simplification Manager, the Nyon Campus Internal & External communication coordinator owns internal communication strategy and contributes to our external communication strategy. As part of the employees’ services team, she/he will contribute to increasing employee engagement, employer branding and will impact the Campus positioning, internally and externally.
She/He will ensure an inspiring communication plan for the campus. This will be also achieved through strong interaction with other support functions.
Key responsibilities:
Internal communication scope is composed of:
- Campus Event planning and promotion: Elaborate an annual planning of Campus internal and external events, in line with our ambitions. Support to organize and deliver the events Campus calendar. Communicate on internal and external events using appropriate channels. Actively use the network of partners to support internal and external events.
- Communication supplier management: manage and monitor supplier under her/his responsibilities for outsourced scope (e.g. agency)
- Employee Resource Groups (ERG): Ensure Inclusion and Belonging (I&B) environment in collaboration with ERGs. Collaborate with them to deploy and promote their agenda of events.
- Owner of communication methods (approach and tool): Standardize all campus communication, providing training to some employees/functions involved in Campus publication about Haleon communication standards, aligned with corporate writing and branding. Define appropriate materials (mass mail, Viva Engage, communication screens, etc). Develop key internal and external communication comprehensive assets.
External communication scope is composed of:
- Reputation and Public relationship: Coordinate the external communication strategy. Attend external meetings (forum, salon, benchmark) targeting appropriate audience, to achieve our ambition and strategy. Design and regularly update the external stakeholder’s map.
- Sponsoring: Contribute and deploy a relevant sponsoring mapping and strategy, supporting our ambitions.
- Point of contact for media query: Keep the relationship with local/regional/national media in partnership with an agency and local management.
- Communication Guidelines and principles: develop standards (e.g. crisis and issue management, relationship with media) with the agency support.
- Measure external comm. Performance: Measure the return of investment of what have been done. Ie. How did we perform according to our targets? How much did the coms’ support the ambition? How many leads have been transformed into event / presentation / partnerships.
