Are you a pro at keeping things running smoothly and thriving in a lively environment? We’re looking for a new Office Manager to join our People Team!

In this role, you'll be the ultimate go-to for making sure everything runs like clockwork—from office admin to backing up our HR team. Can you juggle tasks like a pro and turn chaos into harmony? We need someone who’s detail-oriented, follows through diligently, and has a talent for keeping things organized. We're looking for a multitasker extraordinaire who's not only great at managing tasks but also excels at connecting with people and getting things done efficiently. HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:

    • Office Management:
    • Oversee daily operations of the Exploding Kittens office to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient environment, fostering employee productivity and collaboration 
    • Oversee and manage both onsite and offsite storage areas, ensuring accurate tracking of product inventory, and coordinate the setup and logistics of deliveries and pickups
    • Coordinate office maintenance and repairs, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the availability of office supplies, snacks, drinks and equipment
    • Coordinate and execute team-building events, all-company meetings, in-office lunches, and perks programs to maintain a fun, inclusive, and engaging company culture

    • HR Coordination:
    • Provide a high level of customer service to all employees by answering questions, escalating issues as needed and offering support on HR-related matters
    • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, terminations, account audits, monthly invoice processing, and open enrollment support
    • Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks to help ensure an excellent candidate experience
    • Facilitate new employee onboarding by preparing for the first day, conducting office tours and new hire orientation, issuing building access cards, managing parking, and completing new employee paperwork to create a welcoming and seamless experience; Assist with offboarding by managing equipment returns
    • Manage HR-related tools such as BambooHR for employee records, EasyLlama for harassment and compliance training, Nectar for employee recognition, and Suggestion Box for employee feedback, ensuring compliance, data integrity, and a positive employee experience
    • Update company employee resources including the company directory, org chart, and employee Information Center
    • Perform additional HR administrative tasks as needed to support the People team and overall company operations

WHAT WE NEED:

    • 3 to 5 years of experience in office management; 
    • 2 to 4 year of experience in HR coordination including benefits administration, onboarding and/or administration, onboarding and/or recruitment support
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office; HRIS experience preferred 
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds 
    • Able to work in our Los Angeles office with an active driver’s license
